The Management of Joseph Ayo Babalola University, ikeji Arakeji in
Osun State as their widow's mite to curb the spread of Covid 19 Pandemic donated 1000 pieces of hand Sanitizers and 1000 facemasks to the government of the State of Osun on Thursday.
The Deputy Governor and Chairman Osun Covid-19 task force Mr Benedict Alabi took the delivery of the material in Osogbo on behalf of the Governor.
He thanked the institution for its support and for identifying with the government during this challenging period.
He lauded the university for focusing on entrepreneurship training and making it environmental friendly.
He said as a citadel of learning, the impact must always be felt while the positive contribution to its immediate environment and the society at large will always be required.
Presenting the material, the Vice Chancellor Joseph Ayo Babalola University JABU Professor Kola Sonaike who stated that the items were products of the institution hinted that the material donated to curb the spread of covid-19 is part of social responsibility of the university.
