Nigerians are reacting to Gov. Wike of Rivers State of his talk and do action on his earlier announcement on actions to be taken on any violator of the lockdown orders

Nigerians on social media are reacting to the decision of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state on the demolition of two hotels in the state for flouting the lockdown order.

Earlier today, the Governor led a team of security officers with a bulldozer to demolish two hotels. The Prodest hotel and one Edemeteh Hotel in Onne, for flouting the lockdown order in Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor local government areas. The lockdown was announced by the governor last week as part of measures to stop the spread of the novel Coronavirus.

While some Nigerians praised the governor for his action, others condemned him for demolishing the properties without legal backing.
