The ex-spokesperson to former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose reported that the vehicle conveying raw foods was attacked by unknown gunmen and goods were carted away.
The screen of the car conveying the goods such as yams, tomatoes, water melons and other food items, was also badly damaged.
The driver said all yams in the vehicle were stolen after his attackers blocked all roads and robbed him.
It was similarly reported some weeks ago that two vehicles conveying bread and bags of rice were also attacked along Lagos and even as Federal Government extended lockdown as well as many states across the country to curtail spread of disease (covid-19).
