We will be conducting interviews during July. Certified in Online Teaching a plus, but training to teach online (along with certification) will be provided for candidates selected for hire. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Create a conducive learning environment that encourages student involvement and participation • Prepares class sessions and assignments to help students grasp course content and how it integrates with overall student learning outcomes and program goals for the course • Adhere to course syllabus and comply with Assessment of Student Academic Achievement. • Evaluate student progress through day to day evaluation, written examinations, and overall observation. • Documents students’ attendance, participation, and academic progress by giving and grading assignments, projects, quizzes and/or examinations that promote continued student growth that leads to a final course grade. • Actively support student success through guidance, advising and assisting individual students as needed. • Participate in academic planning activities as appropriate. • Participate in the Student Opinion Questionnaire (SOQ) process . • Continues professional development and growth according to personal needs and certification requirements that includes compliance training. • Perform other duties as assigned. Salary/Hourly Rate: | $59.53 |
Salary Comments: | $893.00 per one (1) course contact hour The course contact hour divided by 15 equals the clock hour rate (i.e. $893/15 = $59.53). Normally a three (3) credit hour course in either Fall or Winter Semester would typically equal three (3) course contact hours. |

Clery Act Information

To request a paper copy of the annual security report, visit the WCC Campus Safety Office during normal business hours. The WCC Campus Safety Office is located in the WCC Parking Structure. The WCC daily crime log is also available for review at the WCC Campus Safety Office.
