The Kwara state government has finally lifted ban on worship centres in the state begining from Friday 5, June 2020.
Although, the approval was with conditions to be followed in adherence to the COVID-19 safety protocols of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC).
Some of the protocols to be adhere to is social distancing, hand washing, no hugging, shaking of hands and use of facemasks; For Muslims, Ablution should be done from home to curb transmission, while Muslims women are advised to stay at home as advised
THE Chairman of the COVID-19 committee/Deputy Governor of the state, Mr. Kayode Alabi, stated this in Ilorin at a news briefing held on Wednesday.
